Regulatory Compliance and Beyond

Ensure strict adherence to all environmental regulations and industry standards, and strive to exceed them by:

  • Regularly reviewing and updating compliance protocols to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure all operations meet or exceed environmental standards.
  • Implementing best practices in environmental management to minimise the environmental impact of operations.
  • Seeking certifications and accreditations that demonstrate a commitment to environmental excellence, such as ISO 14001.
  • Actively engaging with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay informed about emerging trends and requirements.

Proactive supplier audits & transparency

Our periodic reviews, of suppliers’ performance, adherence to regulations, and implementation of best practices, are not just a formality; they are an integral part of our commitment to excellence and transparency. All findings from these audits are meticulously documented and uploaded to our internal records.

In addition to maintaining our internal records, we believe in keeping our customers well-informed. To this end, all audit findings and compliance data are also uploaded to our Customer Portal, providing our clients with full visibility and transparency regarding the compliance status of their waste disposal processes. This level of transparency ensures that our customers can trust us to manage their waste responsibly and in accordance with all legal requirements.  We can also support your onsite compliance by conducting site audits to review your current processes and procedures.

Authorised waste management routes

We work with a nationwide network of specialist waste management and treatment providers, selecting the most appropriate route for each individual waste stream.

Whether waste is destined for recycling, recovery, treatment or disposal, we seek to ensure it is directed to an appropriately authorised facility and managed in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements.

Our approach provides customers with a controlled chain of custody from collection through to the final treatment or disposal route.

Waste documentation and traceability

Effective compliance depends on more than moving waste correctly — it also requires accurate records.

Depending on the waste stream and service, documentation may include:

  • Waste Transfer Notes
  • Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes
  • Waste classification information
  • Environmental permits and authorisations
  • Collection and delivery records
  • Treatment and disposal documentation
  • Supplier audit records
  • Compliance certificates
  • Site audit records

Our online customer portal provides customers with access to relevant waste and compliance documentation, helping them maintain an organised audit trail and quickly retrieve information when required.

Kane Enviro supports customers in meeting their waste Duty of Care responsibilities by providing compliant waste solutions, appropriate documentation and access to the information required to demonstrate responsible waste management.

Our aim is to make compliance straightforward, transparent and manageable — even where businesses operate multiple sites, waste streams or suppliers.
